Our Story
We met at a young adults group at church in 2012 and got married in 2014. As we got to know each other we discovered that we had many similar interests. One of those shared interests was a heart for missions. After we got married we were blessed with the opportunity to spend time in Asia with YWAM. We also were able to go to Germany and Italy with our church last year. Another passion that we share is sharing God’s love with children. Both of us are active with the childrens’ ministries at our church and enjoy spending time building relationships with the kids each week.
Ever since I (Sarah) was in highschool, adoption was something that I felt God laying on my heart for the future. I began to pray about it and for a spouse that would share the same desire to create a family through adoption. When Phil and I met and began dating we talked about adoption early on and discovered that we both were not only open to the idea but felt very strongly that this is how we wanted to start our family before trying to have biological children. We spent about two years praying about and looking into several agencies before moving forward. We have officially started the adoption process and we feel extremely blessed by all of the prayers and support from our church, friends, and family and we can’t wait to become parents!
