Our Story
Three years ago, my husband, Bret, visited an orphanage in Haiti that cared for roughly 100 children. He quickly made friends with the children and enjoyed the little notes they made for him daily. A year later, we made another trip to Haiti, this time together. After the earthquake in March of 2010, we returned twice adding another traveling companion, our nine-year-old daughter. As we were reading about God’s love for orphans our hearts began to break for the children without families in Haiti. We felt a strong pull to open up our family to these children, which has led us to adopt two little children, a two-year-old boy and a four-year-old girl! We are beyond excited to bring these children into our home. In late September, I (Mandy) will travel to Haiti to meet both of these children and spend a week with them. Thank you for helping us care for orphans by giving them a forever family!
