Project Info
Oasis Community is an Intentional Neighboring Community made up of multiple generations of people to support youth aging out of foster care as they transition successfully to the next phase of life.
Our mission is to create a sense of belonging through an intentional neighborhood model while empowering youth aging out of foster care, active seniors, young adults and families.
The Latest
We were rewarded a $250,000 matching grant and what you see reflected on this giving page is the amount we have left to raise from the match ($43,000). It is our goal to raise the remaining $43,000 in quarter 3 of 2023. Would you consider making a donation of any amount to help us reach this goal?
Phase One
We are excited to have the first two duplexes nearing completion! As a reminder phase one includes:
- Two duplexes – each duplex is a two-bedroom one bath unit below with a studio apartment above. Youth aging out of foster care will live in the studio apartments while those who would like to help by being that supportive loving relationship will be living below.
- Single-family house – July 5, 2023, is the target date for beginning work on one of our two single-family houses.
