Our Story
We met in 2011 at church and were married in April 2012. The last 6 years of marriage have flown by and we have enjoyed them. Together we love to go to basketball games, be outdoors and try authentic food. Serving at church is important to us. Darrick is on a leadership team at our church and also serves on several other teams while Leah serves in the children’s ministry. We have two children, Talon is 4 and Rae is 2. Being parents has been wonderful. Our children teach us so much and we love to see that even though they are so different, how good they are for us and each other. It is easy to see why God intended us to be together and we can’t wait to see what God has in store for us when we add our next family member!
We always knew we would adopt and are excited that the time has come to pursue it! We are happy to add our third child to our family soon. We are not new to adoption as Leah’s brother was adopted 16 years ago along with several other extended family members. We are excited to be on this journey and look forward to wherever it might lead us. Thank you so much for your prayers and support.
