Making Sense of Your Worth (MSOYW) is a step-by-step program that can benefit anybody, but it is especially helpful to parents (foster, adoptive, or biological) who want to heal from their past and engage in connected parenting strategies in their homes. Whether we realize it or not, we all bring baggage from our past experiences into our present-day relationships. The Making Sense of Your Worth Curriculum is designed to help individuals examine how events in their life have impacted them, created shame, and impacted their ability to feel positive self-worth. As we make sense of our past, MSOYW teaches skills that promote healing and practical ways to gain more positive self-worth. As we come to understand our true preciousness, we gain the emotional capacity to pass that gift on to others.
