If you’ve been around Village to Village for more than five minutes, you’ve probably heard us talk about HALO.
HALO Program is an intensive, trauma-informed intervention rooted in Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) that provides 50 hours of therapy over a 10-week span for children and their caregivers. It’s designed to bring healing, connection, and real-life tools to families who are walking the hard road of trauma and attachment challenges.
HALO will start on January 26th!
This spring, we’re serving six amazing kids and their caregivers, as well as two additional sets of parents who are auditing the Trauma Education Class.
Two students from Bethel University will be fulfilling their practicum with us: Annie Mounsithiraj and Roxy Guthrie. We love seeing future professionals learning trauma-informed care through relationships, connection, and hands-on experience.
Why HALO Matters
HALO isn’t just about behavior management.
It’s about healing brains, strengthening relationships, and restoring hope.
Families leave HALO with:
- A deeper understanding of trauma
- Practical TBRI tools they can use every day
- Increased connection with their children
- And a whole lot more confidence
Growing Demand = Growing Opportunities
The demand for HALO is growing! Due to this, we’re exploring the possibility of running a second HALO Program for children aged 4 to 8 this fall. That means we will need more participants and volunteers. If you are interested in being a participant or a volunteer, we’d love to connect. Reach out to Anthony at anthony@villagetovillageintl.com
We can’t wait to see what this next season of HALO brings. Healing is happening, hope is growing, and families are being strengthened one relationship at a time. Go to our website to learn more about HALO Program
